Dakota Cloud Networks Adds 16 Terabytes of Veeam® Backup Storage in Alexandria, MN Data Center

Dakota Cloud Networks, a provider of hosted applications, websites, and data backups, is excited to announce that we have recently brought into production 16 terabytes of new Veeam® backup storage in our Alexandria, MN data center space.

When it comes to keeping your company’s data safe, the “3-2-1” rule states that you should keep three total copies of your data – a working copy, an on-site backup, and an off-site backup. Due to bandwidth limitations and the increasingly larger volumes of data that companies need to retain, getting backups off-site securely and consistently can be challenging. With Veeam® Cloud Connect, we offer our customers seamless, fast, and secure backups of their on-premise virtual servers and can fail them over to our hosted cloud environment with little to no downtime.

With this recent addition in Alexandria, Dakota Cloud Networks now provides Veeam® Cloud Connect backup storage in all four of its data center locations, which also include Fargo, ND, Dallas, TX, and Baltimore, MD. It also provides our hosting customers with an additional location for failover of their virtual servers, websites, applications and storage running in our other data centers.
